Moisturizing Lotion
what is better to use? moisturizing lotion or moisturizing cream?

so i need to use a certain lotions for my skin because i have sensitive skin. and i was just wondering which one is better to use on my face. oh yeah and to be more specific..i use eucerine.

Eucerine cream is so thick. I'd be afraid of causing wrinkles by stretching the skin while trying to smooth out. I'd go with the lotion. The cream is great for the knees and elbows and for chapped hands.

If you decide to perm your hair, make sure that you have made it clear whether it looks good on you. If it doesn't suit you then the whole idea of keeping the perm is lost. Different hair types would need different ways of getting their perm done. When getting your hair permed keep in mind that you should have extra long hair and it should be in good condition which means well-conditioned and moisturizing.

Here are a few myths about things that do not cause hair loss. Dying, perming, blow drying and sun exposure do not cause hair loss. It is true that dying and perming your hair may cause damage to your hair, especially if you over do it, but it will not cause hair loss. Blow drying can also damage your hair by burning it or drying which may cause it to fall out, but the hair will grow right back.

Perm works by breaking down inner structures in your hair and reforming them around a curler to give a new shape. Hair should be washed prior to perming as this causes the scales on the cuticles to rise gently, allowing the perming lotion to enter the hair shaft more quickly. The perming lotion alters the Kertin and breaks down the sulphur bonds that link the fibre like cells together in the inner layers of each hair.

Hair rebonding is a process where the chemical bonds in your hair are broken, rearranged and bonded back again permanently using very strong chemicals. It is one of the most damaging things you can do to your hair.During rebonding, perming lotion is added to soften the hair and break down its bonds. After this is washed off, hair is placed between 2 metal plates of an electric styling device, which uses heat to pull the hair rod-straight.

Hair perms can be done with acid or alkaline hair perming solutions. Alkaline wave hair perm works best for resistant hair and Asian hair and hair with low elasticity. The choice of perm rod depends on the kind of perm that is sought. Straight or cylindrical perm rods are popularly used for wrapping hair that has to be wave permed. A smaller perm rod ensures a tighter hair perm.

Perms can also be used for hair straightening. However this is a tedious and time-consuming process, where the stylist has to first apply a perming lotion to your hair and follow this with combing your hair, as long as directed by the lotion. Sometimes, as much as 20 minutes of combing will be required to straighten your hair.

The success of the entire process depends upon the right selection of the perm rod. Spiral and concave rods should be avoided in perming as spiral wrapped hair creates a looser curl while concave rods make it impossible to wrap the hair without peaking the ends. A straight or cylindrical type rod should ideally be used for the most natural wave pattern as it can be wrapped with the hair strands of the same width from the scalp to the ends. It prevents spiraling and bunching of the hair that may distort the wave pattern.
