What good comes from applying skin lotion to your hair?

Nothing. Lotion is formulated specially to give skin the kind of moisture it needs, not hair. It might make it greasy, but i can't imagine it would be good. Tell your brother to use mayonaisse- it has the cholesterol that hair needs to be soft and moisturized.
