What are good mascara removal products?

I currently use Mary Kay Extra Emollient Cleansing Cream.
It's an older product that Mary Kay would like to get rid of but it works well.
It removes even waterproof mascara quickly with little pressure or rubbing.
It leaves the skin in the eye area moisturized and protected.
It doesn't blur vision like oily products do.

Unfortunately, it's expensive and requires contacting the Mary Kay rep which isn't always convenient.

So...do you know of any relatively inexpensive products that work well in removing mascara?

I like Neutrogena eye makeup remover, its cheap and works well

This starts with a good face wash. A foaming face wash is an excellent choice. It is made just for the face and will help retain the skin's moisture. Regular bar soap is not a good idea because it can dry out the face's delicate skin.

Body care matters in healthy of a human and it may be of hands, nails, eye and arms care. Your mind rules to your body so try to use fresh food that maintains your body. Always try to use research-proven, simple tips for keeping your body healthy, slim, well and trim.

These chemicals include hormones, preservatives, pesticides, artificial fertilizers and antibiotics - the list is extensive. Many of these chemicals enter our bodies from the foods that we eat, particularly if that food has been mass-produced.

Many types of non-organic skin care products contain parabens, alcohols, fragrances, and mineral oils that irritate your skin and can lead to serious health issues. An organic natural body care product with all natural ingredients will only produce negative side effects for you if you are allergic to any of the natural ingredients used.

If you know what to look for, several of these ingredients can add to the effectiveness of a body care product, more so than chemically filled ones that you find on the drug store shelf.

The survey conducted has also shown consumers are willing to pay extra for organic natural body care product; meaning higher profit margin for these manufacturers. The actual quality of the products will normally be compromised due to dishonest management, pressure from shareholders to cut corners and improve profitability, poor manufacturing processes and the use of substandard raw ingredients.

Olivem 800 is a unique olive oil extract that is formulated to deeply hydrate your skin in order to rejuvenate and hydrate it. Of all natural plant oils, olive oil is the most compatible with human skin. It is an essential ingredient in any body care product because it is a highly effective emollient.

Though a few more requirements have been put in place around food there are fewer rules around body care products but that is starting to change. The thing to know is, you have to read the ingredient list.

Organic body care has been practiced by humans since ancient times. All natural substances have wonderful healing properties when applied topically to the skin. But not all natural ingredients are created equal.

Some of these substances have amazing anti-aging benefits for the skin. And since they are very similar to your skin's natural oils, they are accepted very well and are very unlikely to cause any negative reactions or side effects like many synthetic ingredients can.

It may surprise you to know that some of these products actually contain some harmful ingredients. Most of them are not effective because, they do not contain the necessary active ingredients in the right proportion- the truth is that most manufacturers do this for economic purpose because the ingredients are expensive.

In olden times quill pens made from bird feathers were all the rage, and were the primary writing instrument for many centuries. When the Industrial Revolution beckoned, a progressively more refined technology created improved writing tools, like the fountain pen for instance. The primary contemporary categories of pens can be classified by the sort of writing tip or point. Let us look at the more popular writing paraphernalia available in the market today, and also at writing instruments used in the past.

* Ballpoint pen - Usually has tungsten carbide, steel or brass finishing. A ballpoint pen ordinarily measures between 0.7 to 1.2 millimeters and works by meting out thick oil based ink by navigating a minute hard orb. Ballpoint pens are very popular because the ink instantaneously dries upon contact with paper, plus, they are inexpensive and have a long life span. This type of pen is used in schools, colleges, universities and offices.

* Rollerball pen - In the beginning, the rollerball pen was crafted to merge the expediency of a ballpoint pen with the silky "wet ink" outcome associated with the fountain pen. A rollerball pen's ink is usually water-based which is then distributed through a ball tip akin to a ballpoint pen. Because the ink is less thick and has a higher absorbance quality, this writing apparatus glides smoothly across paper or other writing materials.

* Fountain pen - The writing instrument choice of the distinguished and elite, it also has a water-based ink fluid which is then transported to a nib. From then on, the ink floods from a basin or tank, thanks to the ingenuity of combined gravity and capillary action. It is interesting to note that fountain pens do not possess any mobile components. Instead, ink is disseminated via a slim opening to the intended writing area. There are 2 types of fountain pen basins - refillable or disposable. The latter is known as an ink cartridge. Refillable fountain pens contain devices such as pistons to get ink from a container through the nib, or in some cases, the ink can be refilled using an eyedropper.

* Felt-tip pen - This instrument, also widely called a marker, has a permeable tip made from a rubbery substance. Felt-tip pens come in various sizes, with the smallest mainly used to write on paper. The larger version is what we normally use to mark cartons, chalkboards and whiteboards. The medium sized markers are popular with the much younger set, used for art purposes.

There are 3 kinds of pens used in times of yore and not universally employed, although in some parts of the world, they may be used sparingly.

* Dip pen - Also known as the nib pen, it is quite similar to the fountain pen, and has a metal nib with vessels. A dip pen is normally situated on a lever or receptacle made from wood. The drawback of the nib pen is that it must be frequently dipped into an ink container for repeated use. Nowadays, the nib pen is used mainly for art and design purposes, such as comics and calligraphy.

* Reed pen - This pen has almost departed the writing world, except for minor use for school children in remote parts of Pakistan, said to develop handwriting skills. Reed pens are made out of bamboos and reed, with an opening in a tapered tip.

* Quill pen - Made from feathers of birds like geese and eagles. A quill pen was one of the first writing instruments used, after the reed pen. The mechanism consisted of a shaft which operated as an ink basin, and the ink is distributed right to the tip via a passageway.

Sun protection - which better? Clinique or Lancome?

Hi. Which one would you recommend to buy (dry fair skin) for summer holidays in Greece.

either: Clinique Body Spray SPF 30 Sun Screen

or: Lancome Absolue Soleil Absolute Replenishing Sun Protection Body Cream SPF 30?

Thanks!

The Clinique Sun-Care Body Spray SPF 30 Sun Block includes avobenzone for UVA protection, but its base formula is mainly alcohol, and the ingredient methyl hydrogenated rosin can cause contact dermatitis. Sounds like the Lancome is better. Be sure to check the ingredients, though. I would go for Neutrogena sunscreens; they're cheaper and have better formulations. Try the Ultra Sheer line. It's great.

When you ask a skin expert about hyaluronic acid, they will be quick to tell you that it is one of the most vital components in youthful skin. As we age, however, free radicals slow our production of hyaluronic acid considerably. In fact, by the time we reach middle age, our levels of the substance are only half of what they are during our youth. The result is skin that is more susceptible to damage as well as to signs of aging. A wrinkle cream with hyaluronic acid can help to reverse this, however.

The absolute most important thing for everyone to know about wrinkle cream is that you should not be buying the products you find at drug and department stores. They are filled with chemicals, and they will always do more harm than good. A quality wrinkle cream should contain natural ingredients proven by science to help combat wrinkles as well as added nitrogen to preserve freshness. That's it. No alcohols, no dyes, and no fragrances, only proven wrinkle reduction ingredients. When you can find a wrinkle cream that meets these requirements, you are off to a good start.

When choosing a wrinkle cream, you will find that choosing one with low molecular weight hyaluronic acid is an excellent choice. Hyaluronic acid is proven to penetrate deep into the skin, replenishing moisture to collage and elastin and helping to seal it in. It helps the skin to regulate its own moisture levels, ensuring that skin is neither excessively dry nor excessively oily. This can provide big benefits, especially when ingredients such as Argireline and Matrixyl 3000 are also added.

Any wrinkle cream is only as effective as the sum of every ingredient. Even the best ingredients, when mixed with fillers and chemicals, will have limited to no effect. This means that you need to take the time to choose a product that will really work for you. The Internet is an excellent tool for researching skin care and can also help you find where to purchase wrinkle cream directly from the manufacturer. With the right product, you will find that you really can reverse the signs of aging.

What is the strongest sunblock there is?

I've heard after a certain point the higher numbers don't give any added protection, is that true? If it is, what is the cut-off point?

I also need to find a non-greasy facial moisturizer that has sunblock and salicylic acid (if such a thing exists). I currently use Clean & Clear's Oil-Free Dual Action Moisturizer, but it doesn't have a sunblock.
I forgot to mention that I need the name of the strongest available facial sunblock.

That is correct after 30 they don't really count, the important part is the reapplication.

I use Arbonne's entire Sun Care system and it is great. Hypoallergenic, Dermatalogist tested, no perfumes, no dyes, VEGAN, No MINERAL OIL, botanical based and has Anti-Aging Elements.

Not only is for your face and body, but for your hair, lips and even to maintain your tan.

For more info let me know via email.

We all know how to shampoo and condition our hair. Bu what we ignore about hair care is some basic things which either we do not know or do not follow because we really do not give any importance to them. But these tips are here to improve your hair care routine. Check these out and improve your daily hair care.

For any type of hair cleansing, toning, conditioning, drying and brushing are to be maintained daily and carefully. If not you will surely face any kind of hair damages and problems regarding hair. So from this very time do not ignore one of your most valuable parts of body and have a fabulous and fantastic hair.

First of all you should choose a good hair product because different types of products are there available but for different type of hair problems. If you use a conditioner for your extra oily hear then it will do no good but the reverse. So if you use a wrong product for your hair it will be wasting and making your hair worse.

For shampooing use a shampoo which is perfect for hair . As for example- if your hair is oily then use a non-oily shampoo, which is only for oily hair. Use rich shampoo with conditioner and moisturizer for your dry and coarse hair.

For normal hair use only a type of shampoo, which is mild, and with conditioner. Usually a mild shampoo with adequate conditioner is recommended for normal use. Herbal options are also available there. Greasy hair can be washed off by lemon and egg. Egg based shampoo is very good for hair. Shikakayee and henna based shampoo is also a good potion.

After cleansing now you need toning exercise . Toning is vital for proper blood circulation. With your finger pads or with fingertips but not with nails you can massage your scalp in a way like spider push-ups. It will give you a relaxing effect and helps in stimulating blood for better growth of your hair.

After the toning exercise you need to do condition your hair. It is a restorative action. If you use chemical products like perm lotions or you your hair become exposed to sun or your hair is so much want of oil and moisture then conditioning is a must to have. Most of the conditioners are made up off a combination of oils, waxes; emulsifiers etc. Herbal extracts like vegetable oils and plant oils are also now having a good demand. Dry hair needs it badly. Long dry hair needs it once a week, normal hair need it once a fortnight and oily hair need it once in a month.

Correct drying process is very necessary as it can harm your wet hair the most. Wet hair most vulnerable and can be damaged easily. So handle it carefully. The most natural way is wrap your wet hair with a towel and few minutes later open it as it will then remove the excess moisture of your hair. Do not rub and brush your wet hair. Comb it with a wide toothed comb.

How to change the plastic nib on Wacom tablet pen?

Anybody know how to change the plastic nib on Wacom Bamboo Fun Tablet Small size, pen? received some in the box with new tablet when I bought it but no instructions in the box or in manual book how to change it.

Take tweezers or any type of clamping device and pull it out. It should come out easily. Next take your new nib and insert it.

It is definitely a good idea to use a David Oscarson fountain pen at school. First and foremost you have to make sure that the ink you use is not the wet kind. Choose an ink that dries fast. The paper you write on also makes a lot of difference and some which are glossy have a very poor absorption rate. You should also avoid choosing a David Oscarson pen with a broad nib as the writing from it takes longer to dry as compared to that from a fine nib.

A David Oscarson fountain pen is definitely a lot less troublesome than the ballpoint pens or roller balls. Gel pens are also quite good but then you run the risk of ink smearing. How well or quickly the ink dries depends on the ink as well as the kind of paper that you use. Almost all inks available nowadays dry up quickly; this is even more important to the writers who are left handed. If you use some piston fillers for your David Oscarson pen you must ensure that it carries a sufficient quantity of ink and you replenish it regularly. It is preferable to use a cartridge pen as then you can store a few spare ones in your school bag or pencil box. Please do not put the spare cartridges in your pocket in case they leak and make a mess.

The David Oscarson fountain pens write by using their own weight on the paper and hence you are not required to put any extra pressure as you normally would with other kinds of David Oscarson. As a result you have minimal cramping of your hand which can turn out to be a real problem if you are required to take down several pages of notes with a ballpoint pen.

Then you have to keep in mind the cost of the David Oscarson fountain pen. You definitely don't need to buy a David Oscarson which costs a few hundred dollars for school. A cheaper one will do. A costly one will only draw attention and it will not be long before it is stolen or someone borrows it never to return.

If you have been wondering about the size of the nib that you should opt for in your David Oscarson fountain pen, it is the fine nib which should be suitable. However, the extra fine nib can get a little scratchy and make holes in the middle of you notes. Also people who are left handed would be better off avoiding italic nibs as the writing angle doesn't suit such people. For general writing, a David Oscarson pen with a round tipped nib is said to be ideal.

So while you are still in school or college you can select from the David Oscarson fountain pens that are more affordable rather than the expensive ones with gold plated nibs and other embellishments. A cheaper David Oscarson pen can also give you good quality writing.

A fountain pen of a good brand like David Oscarson is indeed a good idea for school; check out the many a David Oscarson pen available here and select the one that best suits your requirement and pocket.

Does Mary Kay Extra Emollient Night Cream give you zits?

I'm extremely prone to zits. I have an extremely dry face. Is it okay to put this product all over my face (and on my zits) or will it make my skin oily and cause acne? HELP!!!!!!

As long as you don't use too much, it shouldn't give you zits. Try applying on the driest parts of your face first, and if you find that you are getting acne, try something else.

Winter is just around the corner and the cold weather can play havoc on the skin. Every season we should evaluate our skin care routine. For instance, during the winter months the sebaceous (oil) glands produce less oil; thus for those with oily skin during the summer months they may find some relief from excess oil during the winter. However for those of us with combination skin or dry skin, the winter months dry out the skin even more.

Below are suggestions to help you combat dry skin in the winter time:

Hydrate the Face - both inside and outside. Winter is the perfect time for warm herbal teas loaded with antioxidants. Additionally, you should have a daytime moisturizer that still includes SPF and an emollient rich night time cream. Consider a lotion during the day and a cream at night time. Consider creams that contain shea butter, avocado oil, and olive oil for example. Avoid moisturizers that contain alcohol and synthetic preservatives, fragrances, and coloring, as these have a tendency to strip the skin of its natural oils and have a drying effect on the skin.

Cleansing - we all know that we should stay clear of harsh soaps on our face. We also know that we should avoid extremely hot showers, although they are so tempting when it's zero degrees! Hot water strips the skin of its natural oils thus drying out the skin.

Cleansing for the body, consider a body wash that is gentle and can enrich the skin such as aloe Vera. After your shower pat down with a lotion rich in moisture such as shea butter. If possible consider using fragrance- and dye-free laundry detergents and avoid fabric softeners. These chemicals embedded into our clothes can irritate dry skin.

Facial Cleansing - this is probably the most important part of your skin care routine. A good cleanser will thoroughly clean the skin and not strip away natural oils.

Facial Toning - this is a matter of preference. I have read and written several articles about the importance of toners, however there are some that say it is not needed. Personally, I love my homemade green tea and chamomile toner.

Body Exfoliate - A good exfoliate once a week will perk up skin and color by promoting circulation under the skin.

Facial Exfoliate - usually once a week. For an easy exfoliate, add a little cornmeal to your facial cleansing. You will notice a difference in the feel and look of your complexion.

Facial Masks - A facial mask can do so much to hydrate deep down into the lower layers of the skin. There are numerous types on the market. Oatmeal, clay, avocado masks are so beneficial to the skin.

Lips - thin skinned and no oil producing glands in the lips. They take a beating during the winter. If you suffer from chapped lips all winter long consider a waxy lip balm to lock in moisture and protect before you got outdoors. Consider a lip balm that contain avocado, olive, or soybean, they soften and soothe, while vitamin A-rich shea butter promotes healing.

Hands and Feet - just like the face, if you do not wear gloves, the hands are exposed to the winter elements. They need moisture and protection to. Consider a day lotion with SPF and at night give them a treatment with some shea butter for example. The feet which never see the light of day during the winter months are still vulnerable to cracks and dry skin and prone to developing fungus. Consider a balm with peppermint or tea tree oil at night to fight fungus, and cover your feet with cotton socks. Additionally a weekly soak in Epsom salts does wonders to relieve foot ache, fungus and cleanse.

Take pretty in pink to the next level! It just doesn't get any more feminine when it comes to color choice than pink. But, with such a traditional history, it can be difficult to do pink shirts in a new way. Not to worry! We've looked into some of the coolest new ways and directions designers are taking this girl-y girl's color. Just because you love this sweet color choice doesn't mean you have to do it in last season's styles! So, before you purchase your next pink shirt, check out these hot trends--talk about an old dog learning new tricks!

So, the first trick up one of our favorite designer's hottest sleeves takes this cute-sy color, and takes it to ultra feminine. Hey--if you're going to go girl-y, why not go all the way? Malene Birger's 'Mullens Pink Ruffle Top' is sassy, sexy, and oh-so-well-done.
