What is a good oil free moisturizer to use while I am pregnant?

I have suffered from mild acne all of my life and before I was pregnant was on an antibiotic which cleared me right up. Now, obviously not taking anything-my acne is tremendously flared. My doctor put me on a safe topical cream which dries my skin. I need a really good moisturizer that is oil free and that will not create worse breakouts. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks!

My dermatologist told me to use Cetaphyl products. You can get them at CVS....they were actually made for dermatologists offices but are also available to the public. I am very happy with the face wash and the oil free mousturizer. Here is a link so you can see what the packaging looks like. They are usually kept on the bottom shelves and hard to spot.

In a world where we fight with stress on a daily basis, it is only natural that we feel the need to relax and there is no better way than a massage to do that. When receiving or giving a massage, it is essential to look for information about the massage oil that will be used and there are many different options out there to choose from. Massage oils come in all scents, colors, uses and prices and there are many factors that will help you determine which one is right for you. Moroccan oil is famous for its beauty attributes and medicinal properties, providing a top health product to people worldwide.

Traditional massage oil was created only for the purpose of a therapeutic massage, while other oils are used in order to peak and enhance excitement between partners. Plants contain the essential substances for a healthy life and skin, being the main source of oils. Massage oil enables us to recreate our connection with nature and plants and, at the same time, to take care of our skin. These oils, when used properly, will definitely improve your life quality, helping you to relax, relieving stress and tensions, relaxing muscles, improving your sleep and enabling you to reach emotional and hormonal balance.

Massage oil differs greatly from plant to plant, having various healing properties; for this reason, it is important to know what these properties are in order to make an informed decision when choosing your oil. Because there are plenty of massage oils available on the market, it is essential to be familiar with the characteristics of each of them if you want to be happy with your purchase. Massage oil is not a luxury, but a necessity which offers us only benefits and which can be purchased at a reasonable price either online or from a local store.

Moroccan oil is one of the most popular massage oils around the globe, being renowned for the amazing properties it has. This oil has been successfully used by Moroccans as a hair and skin care product for centuries and recently it seems to have changed the beauty industry. Although Moroccan Oil was the national Miracle Oil, with production techniques kept secret and passed from generation to generation, nowadays, luckily for us, it has become an international trademark, becoming the trend in skin and hair care products, due to its numerous benefits.

Moroccan oil can be purchased in online stores and it can be rarely found in professional hair salons. In spite of its popularity and high demand, the distribution of the Moroccan oil is still limited, due to the fact that it is a product of superior quality usually acquired by upscale clientele. Besides being greatly beneficial for hair, Moroccan oil is also a skin moisturizer, hydrating and smoothing skin instantly. The best thing about this product is its absorbency speed, whether it is applied on skin or hair and the best way of convincing yourselves of its benefits is by trying it. Massage oil is exactly what you need after a long, tiring work day and we all deserve to pamper ourselves at least once in a while!

To conclude, nothing compares to receiving a massage and the only thing that can make this experience even more pleasant is the use of a Massage oil. It is our pleasure to be able to offer you the famous Moroccan oil which has amazing properties not only for hair but also for skin.

Sally Beauty Supply it has EVERYTHING! (they sell it online as well)

What is not to like about honey! It is great on toast, in tea, and offers so many benefits when used in skin care products.

Honey is not anything new; it has been around for thousands of years! Honey has been and still is used in food products and in medicine. Honey is now emerging into the cosmetics industry which is really not new either. Honey has been used by women in the early days of the Roman Empire as facial masks, honey and milk baths, etc.

Honey is comprised of 98% sugar and 2% enzymes, vitamins and minerals. These vitamins and minerals would include vitamin C, a variety of B vitamins such as niacin, riboflavin, and pantothenic acid, and the mineral potassium. It is also rich in amino acids. This combination of natural ingredients offers a multitude of benefits when used in skin care products.

Properties of Honey:

Natural humectants - which makes it a superb moisturizing ingredient. Honey has the ability to bind moisture to the skin to help it stay hydrated. Additionally, it will smooth out rough, dry and wrinkled skin.

A natural antioxidant - which fights off free radical damage. Antioxidants are used in skin care products to fight free radicals and reverse the signs of aging.

Ant-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties - Honey also possesses anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. These properties are beneficial for those with problems skin such as mild acne. Research has shown honey has shown to manage acne by attacking the bacteria which is causing the outbreaks. Because of its potent antibacterial properties, hospitals in Asia and Europe have used honey infused bandages to help heal infected wounds successfully

Below are some simple skin care recipes to enjoy the many benefits of honey. Although honey tends to be well tolerated by most skin types, a patch test is always recommended.

Easy Cleansing Scrub
Mix honey with ground almonds and scrub on face. Note: if allergic to nuts this would not be recommended. Try cornmeal instead.

Purifying Scrub

Mix 1 tbsp. of honey with 2 tbsp. finely ground almonds and 1/2 tsp. lemon juice. Massage gently onto face and rinse well with warm water. Follow with toner

Firming Facial mask
Whisk a tablespoon of honey together with an egg white, 1 teaspoon of glycerin and about 1/4 cup of flour. Smooth on the face, leave on 15 minutes, and rinse off with warm water.

Moisturizing pack
Mix 2 tablespoons of honey with 2 teaspoons of whole milk, smooth over the face and throat, and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water, and finish by splashing with cold water.

Moisturizing lotion
for dry patches such as elbows, mix 1 teaspoon of honey with 1 teaspoon of olive oil and a 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice, then apply. Wash off after 15 minutes.

What are some natural products for baby care? like lotions, shampoo, body wash, oil?

My friend is interested in natural ways and all I know so far is olive oil is good for babies. I was wondering if anyone knows what are some natural ways for baby care?

I use almond oil to massage my baby and for hair I use coconut oil. Also, you can use almond oil for yourself as well. Almond oil has a natural bleech agent. It gives your skin narishment and shine natural way. You don't need to use any kind of lotion after that.

In fact, a good skin care routine is a must for maintaining the glory of your beautiful skin. In this context, using homemade products is the best way to make your skin shine naturally. Diet plays an important role in maintaining the health of the skin. Diet should supply all the nutrients needed to build health, namely, protein, carbohydrates, fats, essential fatty acids and all the essential vitamins and minerals. Such a diet will consist of liberal quantities of seeds, nuts and grains, vegetables and fruits, supplemented by special protective foods like milk, vegetable oils, yogurt, honey and yeast.

Home Tips for Beautiful Skin: -

*Lime juice is an important natural aid for healthy skin.
* Never squeeze your pimples as the skin will blemish and the bacteria will spread causing more pimples. Allow the pimples to air dry and flake off.
*Take an egg yolk and mix in a few drops of lime and olive oil. Spread on the face and leave it till the skin feels dry. Wash off with ordinary water and splash on cold water.
* Don't use harsh cleansers that will rob your skin of the precious oils.
* Don't scrub your skin as this will cause the skin to over-produce oil, clogging the pores.
*Take four tablespoons each of lime juice and iced water. Saturate cotton pads in this water and place over your closed eyelids for 10 minutes.
*Apply the pulp of a tomato liberally on the face. Leave this for an hour. Then wash off with warm water. Repeat this daily. You will have a good complexion. It will also remove ugly-looking pimples in a short time.
* Avoid getting chemicals like hair gel and sprays on your skin. They clog pores and can even harm the skin.
*Blanch and grind two almonds. Mix it with white of an egg to which half teaspoon of lime juice has been added. Spread on the face and leave it on till the skin feels dry. Then, wash off first with warm water and then with cold water.
* Avoid touching your face during the day as your fingertips touch a lot of surfaces and you may transfer the dirt and grime to your face.
*Dip your fingers in fresh tangerine or orange juice. Apply it liberally over your face, chin, neck, and forehead. Make a paste from the powdered sun dried pips of unripe oranges. Use this paste on the pimples and acne at bed time.

Causes of Unhealthy skin: -

*Faulty diet: - Refined foods like white flour, sugar and products made with them, tea, coffee, and soft drinks deplete energy, bring about wrinkles, unattractive skin and premature aging.
*Inadequate cleansing: - Very often, our skin looks superficially clean; but they really are not. Dirt and dust particles can hide in the pores of the skin and clog sweat and sebaceous glands.
*Lack of healthy blood: - Healthy blood adds a glow to the skin and keeps it well-nourished, moist, and free from dryness and roughness.

What are any health risks associated with consuming too much olive oil?

I like olive oil- I enjoy salads and broccoli using olive oil as a dressing. But I may be overdoing it. I sometimes may consume about 4 ounces of olive oil per day. I know it's heavy in "good" fat- and heavy in calories. Am I overdoing it? What side affects may come from taking in too much olive oil?

I looked it up on line (((Savage))) and it says that it is rich in omega3's so to me that is a very good thing. It does not say anything about it being bad.
I have always heard how good it is.

that is my two cents.

So many of us use herbs and vegetables from our gardens for regular daily cooking. It's much more practical to plant those species close together for quick picking. When you're tossing up a fresh tomato salad, it's so handy to have the tomatoes, green onions and basil planted close together. All you have to do is pick, throw in a bowl, add some olive oil and your salad is ready to go. The only thing you have to be concerned with, is that all those plants grow under the same relative conditions.

Here are some ideas for themed planting schemes that the cook in your family will love.

Pizza Garden

Coincidentally, many common pizza ingredients thrive under the same sunny, well watered conditions. Some examples include tomatoes, red and green peppers, onions, jalapenos, basil, oregano, thyme and parsley.

Begin with an 8-foot circle of dirt and divide into equal slices for each plant. Put a border around your pizza garden with bricks, or plastic edging.

Suggested quantities for your plants include:

basil - 3
oregano - 1
seed onions - 12
peppers - 3
jalapenos - 3
thyme - 1
roma tomato - 1

The tomatoes should be planted in the northernmost section so that it won't overshadow the other plants.

Salsa Garden

This can easily be planted in a container and displayed on the deck, right outside the kitchen. Include two hot chili peppers, one golden tomato, one beefsteak tomato, cilantro, and one tomatillo plant.

Spaghetti Sauce Garden

For this you'll need a good supply of tomato plants and then you'll have plenty left over for freezing. Start with 5 romas, 5 beefsteak or jet star tomato plants, 3 basil, 1 oregano, 1 thyme, and garlic.

Salad Garden

Keep a good supply of crunchy salad veggies and herbs nearby. Start with 3 plants each of different lettuces such as romaine, ice berg and leaf lettuce. Also include 3 tomato plants, 6 green onions, 1 radish, 2 basil, a row of cucumbers and any other veggies you enjoy.

Tea Garden

I love having a fresh supply of herbs on hand to pick and add to a cup of hot water for tea. Some of my favorites include chamomile, bee balm (also has pretty red flowers, but if you use the leaves this is what Earl Grey tea is made from), catmint, lemon balm, mint (dozens of varieties - even chocolate), and spearmint.

Pie Garden

Imagine making a pie from berries and fruit picked right out your door. Easy growers include:

Blueberries and currant bushes: Plant a whole row just like a hedge.

Strawberries: These are great planted in a container, on a slope for ground cover, or in rows as a decorative border. In the spring they'll be covered in white flowers and in the fall the leaves will change to a lovely russet shade.

Rhubarb: This can be planted right in your flower bed or side by side with purple leaved ajuga or other ground cover.

Raspberries: Once you start these hardy plants, they'll grow like weeds. Be sure to choose the ever-bearing species that produces fruit from midsummer to frost. They grow well in light to medium shade so will not take up all your sunny garden real estate.

Where can I get a combination folligen and emu oil-based product to improve the condition of my hair?

I am African-American and have chemically relaxed my hair with box treatments for years. I have noticed that I do not get the same results with my chemical relaxing that I once did in the past. My hair does not respond as readily to conditioning products that I once used and the relaxer does not last as long as it once did. I have heard a lot about the products folligen, I believe it is found in Minoxidil, and Emu oil as excellent products to restore damaged hair due to modern day styling techniques. I have not, however, seen much information on over-the-counter products containing them besides Minoxidil for hair loss and Super Strength Blue Emu Oil for joint and muscle pain. Are there any stores that carry these products like Walmart, Walgreen's, or GNC?

My hair is also relaxed & I've decided to give emu oil a shot myself. I just purchased the oil itself off ebay. Faintly smells like chicken.Extra virgin olive oil is excellent also. How are you applying your relaxers? No-lye relaxers are harder on the hair than lye relaxers & timing is very crucial w/ either type. If you've been using a no-lye relaxer I strongly recommend stretching your relaxer for about 8 weeks (so you'll have about 1" of new growth) & then ONLY touching up your roots w/ a lye relaxer. Be sure to base your scalp & try not to overprocess. You should never relax your entire head if a relaxer has been applied once before.Your hair right now could be overprocessed or underprocessed depending on how careful you are while self relaxing. Also your hair might be growing at a faster rate, that is why it may seem like you need another relaxer every time you turn around. If your hair is damaged & breaking I highly recommend Nexxus emergencee then following up w/ a moisturizing conditioner free of any proteins like nexxus humuctress, nectaress, or aphogee balancing moisturizer conditioner. You have to make sure that you follow up w/ a moisturizing conditioner w/ out protein otherwise your hair will be too hard from the protein & snap off. Don't be scared though because it will dramatically improve the condition of your hair & cut down on the breakage. If you're looking for something to make your hair grow faster I doubt anything will help you & I wouldn't recommend using minoxidil unless you seriously have thinning hair. Lot's of people have had success using a product called Shapley's MTG on their scalps. It is an equine product that has sulfur in it. I've tried it myself & it's alright, but it smells like bacon. If u decide to try it, be sure you don't have any in your hair the week of your relaxer because your scalp will burn. I hope that helps some in your hair journey. If you're trying to grow your hair long be VERY careful with it, keep it covered at night & try not to use heat styling tools more than 1x a week after you wash & be patient Good luck!

One such cure is to use witch hazel. Chill it in the refrigerator and apply it on a cotton wool before dabbing on the hemorrhoid. It works well with external hemorrhoids, and apply it 3 times a day. Another method is to use ice packs to reduce swelling. Alternatively, apply aloe vera. Known for its medicinal properties, it can be applied directly onto the hemorrhoid to relieve itching.

Like any other inflammation, it is usually due to heat. This makes it really irritating and it is extremely tempting to itch. This is definitely something you don't want to be doing. Instead, get a wet but cool cloth and clean and dampen the area to help to reduce the swelling. Do this for 5-10 minutes and then use another soft but dry cloth to dry the area.

People make the mistake of depending on medication and treatments to get rid of hemorrhoids. What a person needs to do is to develop habits that will help reduce the symptoms of the condition. One sure way of doing this is through hygiene. Taking a bath decreases the pain. Soak yourself in a tub of warm water for a long time, perhaps about 15 minutes, and you are sure to feel the pain alleviated somehow. An alternative to this is ice

How to get rid of hemorrhoids using apple cider vinegar? It is an excellent substance which is found in the nature that can bring relief to the complaint of hemorrhoids. Take 2 teaspoons daily along with each meal to get the desired results. This can also be used to wipe the area to prevent swelling and infection. Aloe Vera juice is also used for the same purpose.

The first thing you can do is take a warm bath. You can also take a shower - what can be very helpful is if you have a removable shower head, this way you can aim the warm water at the affected area. This will help sooth the pain. This way you have a constant flow of warm water rather than sitting in a bath where the water starts to cool.

Applying Emu oil on the affected area can reduce the pain and discomfort greatly. Aloe Vera can have a soothing effect. Vitamin E oil is also an effective pain reliever.Taking a Sitz Bath helps. Sitz baths: fill a small tub with hot water and sit for about 10-15 minutes at twice a day. If you can time it so that you take a Sitz bath after a bowel movement. Also the mineral magnesium can help the the muscles around the anus relax causing less strain. Take care of you digestive system.

There exist several home treatments for hemorrhoids. Home treatments for hemorrhoids might not be first in your list for treating your condition. But don't worry, you should actually take a look at them because there are many that work really well. Garlic, tomato, and aloe vera are just some of the many ingredients you can use in some of the more successful home treatments. Crushed garlic with salt are useful when taking sitz baths.

Are there any stores in San Francisco that carry natural emu oil?

I DONT WANT TO BUY OFF LINE , IM TRYING TO FIND A STORE.

Yep, try this one.

http://www.wonderoil.com/home_page

You have long hair and you are ready for an updo or "long hair" service and you go to a full service salon and what - they don't offer "long hair" service. Guess its not so full service after all. So you go to another beautician and they don't know what to do either. Why is that? Some of the reasons hairstylists don't offer "long hair" or updo service is because:

Your hair is probably your number one asset when it comes to fashion and beauty. It's one part of your body that you have a certain amount of control over. When someone says 'hairstyles', it does not always refer to the 'haircut' itself, but the various ways in which you can wear your hair on a daily, or for a particular event. Hairstyles come in many shapes and forms; you will find a vast array of hairstyles suitable for each and every category of hair lengths and face cuts. You would be wise to consult a hair stylist regarding which hairstyle would suit you best, and which would enhance the beauty of your more attractive features, and tone down the ones which are less attractive, in order to make your face look even more striking. Your hairstyle is one thing that tends to enhance the shape of your face, but if not made up in the proper manner, it can have undesired effects, to say the least.

To get the most out of your hair, it is important that you keep it in good condition, and make sure that you don't suffer from dry hair. Hair care products containing Emu Oil, Panthenol or Jojoba oil raise moisture content and improve hair elasticity. Follicles, the root and follicle bulbs require 5-8% moisture content for healthy development and cell growth. Over-active glands produce excess amounts of sebum and can result in oily hair. Lack of sebum, conversely, results in dry, brittle, or weak hair that is prone to breaking or snapping when combed or styled. Although less prominent than oily hair, dry hair can look lifeless and lack volume.

Many women yearn for long beautiful hair, or if they already have it, treasure it. Even those who say they prefer short hair, can't deny the natural charm of long hair. Pulling back the top part of your hair in a clip is an easy, but classic style. Today's generation of females have many different long hairstyles they can choose from. Women who choose to wear our hair long, do so for different reasons.

A fantastic way of getting long, thick, gorgeous hair is by getting hair extensions. Unlike some celebrities, maybe you are not preparing for your next movie role, or the cover of a magazine, but you can certainly take advantage of this popular trend to get instant long, thick and even highlighted hair. European hair is ONE of the best types of human hair, because of its light weight, strength, texture and high protein content which gives the hair longevity. Human hair extensions have the advantage of looking more realistic and blend in better with your own hair but are generally more expensive. There are a number of application methods used for hair extensions, such as bonded, braided, wefted, and micro rings.

If you are good at long hair, then you need to be the hairstylist that your competitors send their customers to. Advertise that you do long hair. There are plenty that don't do long hair and this approach may get you the client list you need.

Does Coconut Oil give food a slight coconut flavour?

I am considering using coconut oil instead of sunflower oil for a recipe. I am hoping that it will give the product (rice milk) a hint of coconut flavour.

Also; is coconut oil a "healthy" or "unhealthy" oil compared with the alternatives..?
It has to be 'melted' before it can be used, right? My coconut oil is hard in the bottle!

Coconut oil is so good for you. It can protect against heart disease, help with digestion and help the immune system. Its one of the only oils in the world that stays good for you when its heated. Millions of Asians use it daily and they have the lowest rate of heart disease in the world. I use it also as a moisturiser on my face and hair because its natural - no toxic chemicals. I've started using it for all my cooking, even frying eggs, baking cakes etc. I even give it to my dogs.
Do yourself a favour and check out the link below. Its really good!

We have numerous cosmetic products at our fingertips that claim to create an anti-aging process on our skin. Eye creams are particularly noticeable claiming to lighten dark circles, reduce wrinkles and illuminate puffiness around our eyes. The cosmetic industry has spent millions on eyes alone. It can be overwhelming to read the results on these products and put your trust in them, as well as your hard earned money. Are there anti-aging eye cream alternatives? Absolutely! All cosmetics have a start somewhere other than the factories. They come from your kitchen! That's right, there are numerous cosmetic recipes you can obtain right from your cupboards or refrigerators, they are easy to make and cost much less than the anti- aging eye creams at the department stores.

A lot of anti-aging products contain botanical oils. What this means is that the skin products key ingredients are made from plants and herbal extracts, oils, fragrances and vitamins. Understanding what the individual botanical oils are meant to do for our skin is key to choosing the best natural skin care products for our age and skin type.

Different botanical oils meet a variety of skin nutrition needs. Following is a basic botanical glossary of some commonly used botanical oils that are found in today's anti-aging products.

Anti-bacterial: eucalyptus,

Anti-inflammatory: Evening Primrose, Matricaria,

Anti-irritants: Matricaria

Astringent: Baby oil, Tea tree

Conditioner: Evening Primrose,

Emollients, Skin Softeners, Smoothes, Apricot, Avocado, Camellia, Coconut, Corn, Evening Primrose, Grape Seed, Hazelnut, Joyoba, Kukui Nut, Macadamia Nut, Olive , Safflower , Soybean oil, Sunflower, Sweet Almond, Wheat germ

Essential Oil: Matricaria

Lubricant: Coconut, corn, peanut, sweet almond

Moisturizes: Hazelnut, Jojoba, Matricaria, Wheat germ

Nutrient: Sesame Oil

Reduces Oiliness, Refines pores: Camphor,

Stimulates, rejuvenates: Rosemary Oil, Peppermint, Tea tree

The beauty world is going nuts this season. From coconut in your moisturizers to almonds in your lip balm... nuts are everywhere. Nut and seed oils such as sesame and grape seed are some of the hottest beauty ingredients in all leading cosmetics today. "Nuts, seeds and, in particular, their oils also offer valuable beauty benefits as they are naturally packed with anti-ageing antioxidant vitamins,". Apart from their beauty benefits they also are excellent for aroma therapy.

Almonds are a wonderful food all packaged up in its little brown coating. Not only does it pack a wallop when it comes to nutrition, but almonds add flavor to many many recipes, in addition to being used as a base for non other than some baby formulas. This article will explore the many uses of almonds, their nutritional value and some interesting facts that I bet you didn't know about almonds.

Almonds Oil is great to achieve glowing skin and hair. Almond oil is a naturally emollient product and skin softener. It is a great medium to use on your skin, because of it's a very fine texture and natural affinity to the human skin, making it easy to be absorbed by the skin, without leaving your skin feeling greasy or clogged.

How do you use tea tree oil for toenail fungus?

I was told that tea tree oil was a great way to help toenail fungus so I got some but I realized that I don't know the best way to use it. Do I need to remove any toenail polish? How long should I use it? Any help would be great. Thanks!

have to disagree with other answer.....sorry!!! You do not mix it 50/50 with a carrier (a base oil) OR Lavender (another essential oil) This is mixing apples and oranges. If you only use Tea tree oil, which is a toenail fungus treatment of the first order, then do this. put 12 drops of tea tree oil into one ounce of base/carrier and jojoba is fine but so is non food grade safflower, sunflower, grape-seed or apricot. The essential oil cannot penetrate the dead toenail. Try to cut away as much of the dead nail as you can and try put a drop or two of the BLEND under and around the nail and cover with a band-aid twice a day. Or do a foot or toe soak, like 10 drops of the blend into warm water. I have sold this to several folks and it works fine.

Throughout your daily life, you can encounter many situations that may end in a cut or two. While there are numerous synthetic medications that have been created to help heal minor cuts and abrasions, if you have sensitive skin, or are trying to live an organic life, these creams and lotions can often be less than desirable. There are natural remedies you are able to use that can heal your cuts, but without various chemicals and other unnatural ingredients. Making a natural antiseptic salve is easy and will help heal your natural body with natural ingredients.

Some of the Natural Antiseptics:

1. Lemon

Lemon has antiseptic properties and contains compounds that have been studied for their effects on immune function and the lymphatic, circulatory, and digestive systems. It is antibacterial and is beneficial for the skin. To sterilise the air, simply add a few drops of lemon to a spray bottle. To purify soy or rice milk, simply add two drops of lemon. Lemon can be used to treat verrucas, insect bits, and tension headaches. It can also be used for sore throats, in pruritis of the scrotum, in uterine haemmorhage after delivery, or as a lotion in sunburn.

2. Honey

Honey is a natural antiseptic and there are several studies on how honey has been used to treat wounds. Applying honey to wounds helps to prevent infections, as it contains antimicrobial agents that kill the bacteria in and around the wound. Many types of bacteria cannot survive in honey so the wound heals, swelling eases, and the tissues can regrow. Honey is also great for treating ulcers and burns. When treating diarrhea, honey promotes the rehydration of the body and more quickly clears the diarrhea and any vomiting and stomach upsets.

3. Pineapple

Pineapple is high in vitamins A, C, and B, and is rich in manganese, which is an essential part of certain enzymes that are necessary for metabolising proteins and carbohydrates. The pineapple enzyme, bromelain, is used for digesting proteins, and white it does so, it gives some effective anti-inflammatory benefits. It contains antibiotic properties and helps to enhance medical antibiotics. Pineapple is antiseptic and astringent. It reduces the acidity of urine, helps with normalising menstruation and can be used for abscesses, pneumonia, worm infestation, exhaustion, kidney infections, kidney stones, bronchitis, and digestive disorders. Pineapple also soothes sore throats.

4.Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is a fantastic natural antibiotic and it contains antiseptic compounds that are a very effective skin disinfectant. Depending on the severity of the condition, it can be used at a strength of 5 to 15 percent daily. Tea tree oil has been proven to help with acne, athlete's foot, ringworm, jock itch, fungal infections of the toe or finger nails, yeast infections, wound healing, and bad breath, amongst other things.

5. Grapefruit Seed Extract

Grapefruit seed extract is both antimicrobial and antiseptic. For use as an antiseptic, make a solution of 4 to 40 drops in water and apply to affected areas two or three times a day. It can be used as a spray on larger areas.

Does putting baby oil with aloe Vera on your hair add moisture to your hair?

Yeah my hair is very dry.. just wondrering if putting baby oil and aloe vera add moisture so my hair can look soft and silky or watever aslong its not dry...

please answer

Well by using baby oil, it makes your hair look healthier, shinier, and feel softer. but does infact do no difference to your hair.

In just ten minutes you can cut half the fat out of your best recipes while boosting nutrition- guaranteed! And you don't even have to alter the baking method OR the taste.

How would you like to be able to cut out half the fat from your favorite recipes? And what if you could do it without altering the taste or baking method?

It would be a cook's dream! And now, the solution is finally within your grasp. One simple ingredient can cut half the butter/oil/shortening from your recipes. If you can use a measuring spoon, you can unlock all the delightful health and cooking secrets of the greatest new addition to baking.

What could be so amazing, and how does it work?

Please allow me to explain the Chia Seed to you. You may have already heard of Chia, in the form of a Chia Pet. Indeed, these are the very same seeds...only these seeds are 100% natural, selected and packaged for food grade consumption. Don't dismiss these as some novelty, though! Food-grade chia is serious business for your health and cooking. Carefully selected plants produce a mixture of black and white seeds for optimized nutrition. Every tiny seed is packed with fiber, omega-3 oil, anti-oxidants, complete protein, and so much more.

So you may be saying to yourself "Sure, these sound healthy, but what does this have to do with my most delicious brownie recipe?" That's the next step, and one of the unique features of Chia. When you mix the seeds with water or any other liquid, they hydrate. This means that each seed will form a big bead of gel around the outside; which is made of whatever liquid you hydrated them in. The gel has the consistency of a gelatin snack, and is not easily removed from the seed's surface. You can actually watch the process in action with the following recipe.

Chia Gel Recipe:
1 tbsp dry Chia seeds
9 tbsp filtered water (or other liquid)
Stir together the Chia and water with a fork, to prevent clumping. Leave the mixture alone for 10-15 minutes on the counter top. When you return, the bowl or glass will not be full of water any more. Instead, you will see a thick gelatin, with the seeds suspended inside. It will slide, but not pour. You've turned 1 tablespoon of seeds into 9 tablespoons of useful gel. This is Chia Gel, and it can be used instead of butter or oil in recipes.

Chia gel is as easy to use as butter or oil. It will keep for 1 week in a covered container in the refrigerator. (if you don't cover it, it will dry up) Simply scoop the gel with a tablespoon measure, and add it to your recipes just as you would butter.

Why does it work so well?
Chia Seeds don't have any flavor of their own. Instead, they take on the taste of whatever you add them to, and distribute that flavor. In that way, they can actually amplify flavors, and make your cooking even MORE delicious! But, be sure to use filtered water when you hydrate the seeds, or any unsavory flavors in your tap-water will be magnified. The healthy omega-3 oils and soluble fiber gelling action go to work moistening and enhancing the tastes in your recipe.

For example:
If "Grandma's Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies" recipe calls for 8 tablespoons of butter, use 4 tablespoons of butter and 4 tablespoons of chia gel. Bake the cookies just as you normally would.

Are there any side effects?
No, there are only side-benefits! The exterior of the Chia seed holds on to moisture, ensuring your baked goods don't dry out while cooking, and stay moist and rich-tasting for longer. These seeds also have high levels of anti-oxidants. Anti-oxidants are more than good for your body, they're nature's healthy preservative. They are what allows the seed to be dry-stored safely for over 2 years, without ever going rancid, or decreasing in effectiveness. Don't try that with flax or millet, they'll go rancid as the oils inside spoil! It's these same anti-oxidants that keep food baked with chia fresh for longer periods.

B-vitamins in my banana bread?
It's not as far-fetched as you'd think. Baked goods like muffins, cookies and breads are usually considered for dessert...and they're not considered to be loaded with nutrition. While Chia seeds can't turn your pancakes into the nutritional equivalent of broccoli, they can add extra nutrition to the things you already like to eat. You don't even have to cook with them, you can just sprinkle them onto any food that's 'wet' enough so that the seeds don't just bounce right off. What exactly do you add to foods when you add chia?
Anti-oxidants- for heart health and to combat inflammation
A full range of b-vitamins- necessary for energy
23% complete protein- to build strong bodies, and keep your energy up
6 times more calcium by weight than milk- for healthy bones in children & adults
Boron- a trace mineral your body needs to effectively absorb calcium
Soluble & Insoluble fiber- reduce the risk of colon cancer, and help clean up the intestines to avoid problems like diverticulitis

No ordinary baked good can pack in all of the above, but when you start using chia, you'll be able to add all that in, on top of cutting out half the fat. It's time to take your home-made foods to the next level with Chia Seeds. You can easily use them in your own recipes, or use easily available Chia Seed Recipes online too! You and your family deserve the best nutrition and the best flavor, and you can get it right now with MySeeds Chia!
