What's the best soap and moisturizer for dry, sensitive skin?

Does anyone know of a good soap and moisturizer combo for extremely dry and extremely sensitive skin? My skin is super sensitive; I had been using Dove for a while and then switched to Aveeno and both were causing my skin to break out. The problem is that I also have really dry skin, like to dry to the point that I have those thick patches on my arms (gross, I'm aware). I was using Eucerin and found it to be too oily and then I was using Vaseline (the cocoa butter one and then the Aloe Vera one) and while they didn't leave me oily, they didn't do anything for my dry skin. I'm getting pretty frustrated over here and am tired of having red, blotchy, and itchy skin. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Unscented glycerin soap or cetaphil. Body washes and most soaps contain Sodium Laureth Sulfate and will zap all the moisture out of your skin. For a lotion I would use Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion or Moroccan Argan Oil. For the body I would use unscented baby oil right after the shower to lock in moisture. Also unrefined shea butter is amazing. The less ingredients the better I think. What you are looking for is pure moisture that won't irritate.

I'll let you in on a secret those big corporations don't want you to know. Real glycerin soap is moisturizing because during the saponification process, two components are created: the detergent (the stuff that cleans you ) and glycerin ( a humectant that draws moisture from the air into your skin naturally). But, the corporations will take the glycerin and make lotions out of it instead of just leaving it in the soap itself, so you are buying 2x more of their products.

Clearly Natural makes a glycerin soap that won't irritate your skin. It doesn't lather like most soaps you have used but that's okay, it rinses clean and won't dry out your skin.
Neutrogena claims to make a glycerin soap but it doesn't have as much glycerin in it than Clearly Natural. Always read the ingredients and make sure glycerin is the second or third on the list...the farther down the list it is, the less of it is in there :)

These are the ingredients to stay away from :
Soduim tallowate (made from animal fat!)
Sodium Laureth (laurel) Sulfate (or any sulfates)
Fragrance

Finding the right skincare regimen is tedious work. Of course, going through the cosmetics isle and picking out all the right colors underneath harsh fluorescent bulbs is hard enough at it is, but then there are all the other skin care products to sort through, such as the appropriate cleanser, moisturizer, weekly treatments, and wrinkle creams. Worst of all, these companies promise results and price their products as if they were some kind of miracle cream. Unfortunately for consumers, many makeup and cosmetic companies cannot make the products to back up their promises. However, when it comes to top notch cosmetic, anti-aging, and moisturizing products, three companies in particular stand up above the rest when it comes to providing superior results.

GloMinerals utilizes a natural mineral based formula so you will know that you skin can breathe and your pores will not be clogged. Foundation and eyeshadow are interchangeable, so even if you choose to buy a basic kit or a few items, they will serve your every need. Epicuren offers a variety of anti-aging products, so whether your face is riddled in wrinkles or you just have laugh lines or crow's feet, Epicuren has the right product to give you the results you need. Clayton Shagal's moisturizing creams and serums are packed with moisturizing ingredients, so dry skin can be quenched. GloMinerals, Epicuren, and Clayton Shagal all offer a variety of products, and finding the shade and right product is up to you. No matter which shades and products you choose, though, you can rest assured knowing that you did not waste your money on the wrong skin care products. GloMinerals, Epicuren, and Clayton Shagal are three skincare and cosmetic companies that are devoted to giving consumers the results that they paid for.
