What Time Of Day To Use Moisturizer?

Is it better to be used first thing in the morning? Then it won't interfere with sun lotion?! Or I use it before going to bed? Then skin won't have a time to breathe! Shouldn't the skin get a time cleaned with nothing on it to be able to breathe?!
And I've really got to use moisturizer cuz I've got such a dry skin...!
Help please!
How much time should it be between using moisturizer&sun lotion?

Ideally, you should be moisturizing your skin twice a day.

In the morning, you need to use a moisturizer that has an SPF of at least 15. Using a sunscreen EVERY SINGLE DAY is the best thing you can do for your skin! You'll prevent a lot of premature aging if you do this.

At night, after cleansing your skin, you should apply a night cream. This is especially important if you have dry skin. Your night cream should be a little thicker than what you would use during the day. You don't have to spend a fortune - just find a cream that works well for you and doesn't make you breakout, if that's a problem for you (it is for me!)

Your skin doesn't really need time to "breathe", although if you use makeup during the day, it's really important to clean that stuff off - never go to bed with makeup on your face! Going barefaced during the day means leaving your skin exposed to the elements - not a good idea for dry skin (especially in the winter). Nighttime is your skin's time to rest and repair itself - it's most receptive to the benefits a good night cream has to offer.

Hope this helps.

Just Because Your Skin is Oily, Doesn't Mean it's Not Sensitive! If you have oily skin you've probably tried many different moisturizers looking for the treatment that keeps the oil at bay but doesn't make your skin feel like a cracked desert. Many expensive products are on the market but several of the most effective contain rather harsh substances like alpha hydroxyl acid (sometimes derived from fruits and sometimes not). But these powerful acids make your skin too sensitive for other types of facial treatments (such as waxing). How Clean is Too Clean - The Paradox of Skin Care Any skin professional will tell you that you must keep your skin cleansed. Then, in the same breath, they will warn you off of too much cleansing especially with harsh soaps or rough cleansers. You have to keep your skin clean otherwise the oil traps dirt and bacteria, creating conditions for potential blackheads and even cystic acne. But too much cleansing can strip all the good oils from your face and create dry flakiness. What's the answer?

Manuka Naturals Skin Creams - Manuka Honey & All Natural Moisturizers With natural skin creams using Manuka Honey your skin gets a double benefit in one product: the anti-microbial effect of certified Manuka Honey, which keeps your skin "clean" without drying soaps; as well as the soothing moisturizing of 100% natural, non-tacky skin creams rich with protein, vitamins and minerals. Now available in the US here's a recent testimonial from a woman with an oily T-zone who is using Active Manuka Honey Cream: I started to use the Manuka cream on my face at night. It's nice and non-oily. I have a very oily T-zone. It's not heavy and my skin looks great in the morning. Smoother and baby-like, plump but not bloated. I used it all up but then found your website to order more. I recommend the cream to my friends and family and now I have a website to refer them to! Melissa T., Santa Clara, CA Three Skin Creams for Three Different Uses Manuka Naturals offers three products with different levels of the most active Manuka Honey (certified at UMF 15+).

You'll find the right product for your needs among these three: Manuka Honey & Lavender Cream with 7.5% Active UMF® 15+ with rich emollients like lavender oil, almond milk and calendula oil makes this an excellent day moisturizer. Manuka Magic contains 10% Active UMF® 15+ and plantain extract, carrot oil, and chickweed extract. Completely scentless, this is a slightly creamier product and is excellent for day or night use. Active Manuka Honey Cream with 30% Active UMF® 15+ also has apricot kernel oil, sesame oil, and rose water in its formulation. All of our creams use wheat-germ derived tocopherol (vitamin E). And Manuka honey is an active antioxidant, absorbing free radicals which cause skin damage. Honey's therapeutic properties have been known for centuries. However, in the last ten years, honey from bees visiting the Manuka bush in New Zealand has been shown to contain an additional, unique antimicrobial component (methylglyoxal) that hastens relief while nourishing and soothing damaged or sensitive skin. About Manuka Naturals Skincare - Manuka Honey Skincare combines UMF15+ Active Manuka Honey with These products nourish and soothe sensitive skin and have been shown effective for burns, rashes, wounds, acne, eczema, shingles and other types of dermatitis and skin inflammations; the FDA has even approved a wound treatment using Manuka Honey. Our products have no fragrance added and are not tested on animals.

I already use Perricone MD Skin Clear Cleanser and Perricone MD Skin Clear Toner. Im 18 and have combination skin. And Im on a prescription of Erythromyicn and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel as well as a prescription of Doxycycline right now for my cystic acne. Please dont try to suggest cheaper options. I just want the best products and Im skeptical of drugstore products. i REALLY REALLY dont want any drugstore products. I dont really feel happy buying them. So which of these 2 moisturizers should I get? Money isn't a problem. Trust me. It isn't.
they are both oil-free. and the Hydrator is part of Perricone's Skin Clear line which is for acne-prone skin.

Does Olay Complete Defense Daily UV Moisturizer SPF 30, Sensitive Skin stop dry skin from flaking?

Today I was at Sephora and they asked me if I used moisturizer or not. I don't and I guess that's the reason why my skin flakes. My friend suggested using that product, but has anyone with dry and oily skin used it? The skin around my mouth and some of my cheeks have started to flake lately. But, my forehead, nose/around my nose, and chin are oily. So would this cause my skin to be more oily? Also what exactly does exfoliating your skin do? The only product I use now is Clean and Clear Acne Cleanser which sort of works for reducing any acne. Then I just put on my foundation and under eye brightener which both sort of starts to flake after a couple of hours

You do realise that not using a moisturiser makes your skin more oily, as cleansing it everytime strips your skin of it's natural oil, causing it to keep regenerating oil in order to try protect your skin. I suggest you to give the moisturiser a try. Your skin shouldn't get more oily. Exfoliating gets rid of the dead skin on your skin, and leaves it nice and smooth. With oily skin, you can exfoliate up to 3 times a week, but do not do it everyday as your skin may get damaged.

I use Olay Complete Daily Moisturiser for Sensitive skin, but with SPF 15. I've never had any problems with it. My skin has dry and oily parts, and it is also really sensitive, so the moisturiser really helps.

Have you ever wondered which are truly the best anti aging wrinkle lotions on the market?

Of the most expensive on our shelves Dr OZ argues are Neutrogena and Olay, but does this necessarily mean they are the best?

What sets them apart from the rest and are there cheaper brands which are still as effective?

One of the biggest myths Dr OZ states is that whether or not they are the best anti aging wrinkle cream for your skin:

"Creams don't pack the complete punch".

The wool is often pulled over our eyes in the cosmetics industry where we see brands by there 1000's claiming this, that and the other.

What we fail to see and which has been proven by age old diets are that longevity and replenished skin are down to the health of our insides, or more importantly our arteries.

Home to two of the largest populations of centenarians are Okinawa and Sardinia. Here, as it was discovered in the 1990's, they both share a similar ingredient in their diet.

Found in the local Knot weed in Japan, a root used for medicinal and dietary purposes and also found in the Muscadine grape in Sardinia is a particular Polyphenol extremely high in anti-oxidants.

Part of the staple diet of both these communities, this fungi which grows naturally to help protect the plant from bacteria, if - consumed on a daily basis, doctors have confirmed acts as a natural artery cleanser.

Known as Resveratrol, Dr OZ Resveratrol reviews argue that having the ability to scrub ones arteries is crucial for maintaining longevity and replenishing the skin as any diet high in certain natural anti-oxidants, will automatically cleanse and ripen the skin.

America and the west have some of the worst related artery fatality statistics and it's of no secret why. What some doctors say is the staple diet for many women and men across North America and the west is a diet dependent on fast foods which is incredibly damaging to ones arteries.

Such constant abuse of packing our arteries with manufactured toxins is the sure fire way, doctors agree, for an early exit.

So reports that there is now a natural artery cleanser to help cleanse the artery of toxins consumed each day as well as an additional skin product which will naturally revitalize and tighten the face is what scientists agree to be, probably the best longevity and anti aging wrinkle advice, and this is welcome news to many.

How do you get tinted moisturizer to stay in place?

A while ago I got tired of wearing cakey foundation and switched to tinted moisturizer. It looks great when I'm at home but once I look in the car mirror it is horrible and I want to scream. It looks orange and cakey and blotchy. I have the lightest shade of Covergirl tinted moisturizer but it is still way orange because I'm SO pale. I also use loose powder. How else can I make it stay on?

The orangeness isn't necessarily because you're so pale - I'm rather pale as well, and I've found that any of Covergirl's foundation products - whether it's summer or winter - are going to look orange in natural light, no matter what. I'd first suggest switching to a different brand.

After that, if you're still having problems with it looking cakey and blotchy once you've found something that doesn't make you look orangey, I'd suggest trying a foundation primer under your tinted moisturizer, like the one made by Smashbox. Primers do wonders for making your makeup stay put all day long.

Hope this helps!

Edit: Also, you may just want to try powder foundation, since you said your reason for switching was the cakeyness. I recently started using Everyday Minerals foundation, and it's amazing compared to the liquids I've used all my life. You can get any amount of coverage you like, depending upon how you apply it, and it still feels like you're wearing nothing.

If you want to have professional beautiful makeup, one of the most important things to do is to care for your skin prior to applying any product. Ensure your skin is clean, acne and spots are taken care of, and that you are always using sunscreen infused products to ensure your skin remains protected. Next, look for quality products. Any makeup you apply to your skin should be as all natural as possible. Look for products midrange in price rather than low end or top of the line in pricing.

Once you have accomplished those steps, it is time to move into the application tips that will help you have amazing quality skin.

The biggest tip for professional looking makeup is to always use natural colors and applications so as to create real beauty. A makeup-based beauty is easy to see through, but when you use makeup to create a natural look, this is nothing less than astonishing.

Do they work?

An anti-wrinkle cream could decrease the manifestation of your wrinkles, depending on how often you use it, the type and amount of active ingredient in the wrinkle cream, and the magnitude of the wrinkles you like to treat.

But if you want to take the guesswork out of your skin-care regimen, try these other unswerving means to enrich and sustain your skin's youthful appearance.

* guard your skin from the sun. Exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light speeds up the natural aging process of your skin, causing wrinkles and rough, blotchy skin. In fact, sun exposure is the No. 1 reason for aging signs in the skin, plus uneven pigmentation. Guard your skin and prevent coming wrinkles by limiting the time you spend in the sun and continually wearing protecting clothing and hats. Moreover, use sunscreen when outdoors, even in winter.
* select products with built-in sunscreen. When selecting skin-care products, choose those with a built-in sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15. Also, be certain to go for products that block both UVA and UVB waves.
* Use moisturizers. Dry skin turns plump skin cells into shriveled ones, creating fine lines and wrinkles long before you're due. Though moisturizers can't prevent wrinkles, they can temporarily mask tiny lines and creases.
* Don't smoke. Smoking causes narrowing of the blood vessels in the outermost layers of your skin. It also damages collagen and elastin fibers that give your skin its strength and elasticity. As a conclusion, skin begins to droop and wrinkle prematurely.

If you're concerned about the appearance of your skin, see your dermatologist. He or she can help you create a tailored skin-care plot by assessing your skin type, evaluating your skin's condition and recommending products likely to be efficient. If you're looking for more dramatic results, a dermatologist can suggest medical treatments for wrinkles, including prescription creams, botulinum toxin (Botox) injections or skin resurfacing techniques.

Anti wrinkle creams found over the counter are taking a proactive approach to aging and pushing the limits of cosmetic and beauty products. Howconstantly the best anti wrinkle cream I found uses more cutting edge ingredients and provides extra proof and clinical test results than any other.

Go to Signals120.com to find the best anti wrinkle cream you have long been wanting to have.

Anyone can help me about my warts on my face...Any treatment for this?

I have my warts on my face, I want it to remove and I have no idea what to do! ANy facial cream to be used? Any treatment?

Skip the expense of your regular doctor and see a Dermatologist. They can help you. Since it is on your fact, I would see the doctor, if they were on my hands or leg I would try the compound W but face, see the doctor

Dental treatment is one of the most important medical fields in India and abroad. More people are getting conscious about their smile, face and teeth make-over.

Earlier, teeth were not given much importance, but increasing self-awareness is stimulating dentists to deliver high-quality service at optimum prices.

Patients outside India get same treatments at exorbitant cost. Although quality of services is same; yet the cost of that service is pretty high as against same services in Dental Care Centers India. Same dental treatment in USA costs manifold as against the same treatment in India. People from distant countries are travelling to India for their dental treatments.

Dental treatments India solve two purposes, simultaneously: first that a patient gets treatment at much lower cost; and secondly a person can explore India, without getting overboard with budget.

Dental treatment Mumbai are so competitive that a person is able to afford travelling and touring cost, along with treatment cost in the same budget as designated for, in their own country.

High quality services, instant attention on problems, luxury treatment centers, and all this at pretty low cost, as compared to countries like USA and UK compels patients to opt for Dental treatment Mumbai.

Lower quality does not mean lower quality. Dentists in India have studied and practiced in west to obtain skill in their services. Then they return to their own country to deliver high quality services.

This is the reason that overseas patients have high level confidence in Dental Treatments Mumbai. Patients get two lucrative options, which is why they feel better in availing services from India. The most important reason behind lower cost of services is lower infrastructure cost, which is passed on to patients as lower cost of operation.

All services including cosmetic dentistry and restorative dentistry are provided to individuals through Dental treatment Mumbai. Most dental treatment centers provide instant treatment for maximum relief. Therefore, patients are fully satisfied with services.

Cosmetic dentistry is also highly advanced in India and promises to produce specified results for customers and patients.

Dental services come as dental packages also. All services are made as simple as possible for patients and customers, both. It is through specialized dental care centers Mumbai, that an absolute efficiency is achieved in its operations.

what is the best oil control lotion?

I have been told to use a toner and dab milk of magnesioum lightly for very oily skin every oil control lotion makes me feel more oily!

Scientists have divided the aging of our skin into two parts. One, called intrinsic aging, is beyond our control at this point, because it is hereditary. As they continue to study the human genome, no doubt solutions will eventually be found. For now we will have to concentrate our efforts on the other type of aging, called extrinsic aging. This is the aging caused by external factors such as sun exposure, smoking, gravity, lack of exercise, alcohol use, stress, and sleep loss. All of these are factors under our control, though most of us will not exercise that control.

Sun exposure tops my list of the biggest danger to your skin. Results of sun exposure range from darkened freckles to melanoma with wrinkles, sagging, and dry leathery appearance falling in between. If sun exposure is one of your concerns regarding your skin health then you are already late for an appointment with your dermatologist. If you have not yet overexposed your skin to the sun, do not avoid the sun, but take a few common sense measures when enjoying the dangerous but health giving rays. Always wear sunscreen outdoors. Limit the length of time you are exposed. It has been reported that taking CoQ10 gives some protection from the suns rays.

I place cigarette smoke as culprit number two in the skin aging process. It would hold first position except people seem to be getting the word about the dangers of smoking and when they quit smoking most of the effects are self-reversing. That's assuming no smoking related cancers.

Alcohol abuse dilates small blood vessels in the skin thus increasing blood flow near the surface where most of the small vessels are. These vessels become permanently damaged and cause the flushed appearance of those using alcohol in unhealthy quantities.

I lump lack of exercise, stress, and sleep loss all together for the simple reason that regular exercise will usually eliminate the other two. Exercise is also the only tool you have available to fight the effects of gravity. Lack of sleep causes far more problems than the circles around the eyes and a general droopy appearance. Lack of sleep may be a cause as well as an effect on the presence of stress. Stressed people usually wear a worried frown that becomes permanent over time. A regular exercise regimen coupled with meditation such as yoga can relieve stress and promote a healthy night of sleep.

Prevention is always far better than any cure or treatment. But if you are reading this article, odds are you have neglected prevention and are seeking a remedy for the damage already done.

The beginning point for any skin treatment program is cleanliness. Wash your skin daily or in some cases twice a day with warm(not hot) water. Follow the washing with a liberal application of a good moisturizing cream or at least a moisturizing lotion. Creams are as a rule more effective than lotions, but if a lotion is your preference go for it. You are more apt to stick with a program if you use products you personally prefer. For smokers and sun-lovers, a liberal application of your favorite lotion several times during the day is the recommended course of action.

The short version:

Yves Rocher or Nivea?

day and night antiaging cream...tnx

yves rocher it has more natural ingredients and less chemicals
jes

Retinol is touted as one of the main components needed for any good anti aging cream.

Many of the popular brands we hear about such as ROC retinol correxion deep wrinkle night cream and Neutrogena Ageless Intensives Deep Wrinkle Moisture Spf 20 have retinol as the main ingredient.

So what exactly is retinol and what does it do?

Retinol is one of the forms of vitamin A. It is considered by the Food and Drug administration (FDA) as a safe enough drug for over the counter cream and/or treatment. This is therefore the form of Vitamin A that is used in many antiageing cream.

Retinol, upon application on your skin, converts to retinoic acid which is the more potent form of Vitamin A. Retinoic acid is actually the one that does all the "magic" when it comes to improving the way skin looks.

You're probably asking right now Why not just use Retinoic acid instead of using retinol which has to be converted first? And the answer is we do actually. In fact, it is the main ingredient in brands like Retin A. However, because Retinoic acid is scientifically proven to be quite strong, it is available only on prescription.

Thus, if you don't want to go that route, you'll have to do with Retinol or retinyl palmitate as the ingredient in your OTC cream.

So what does Retinol do?

In theory, retinol helps the skin in two major defining ways.

First of all, it benefits the upper layer of the skin by rejuvenating it and making it look healthy. It gives you that warm fresh glow. Secondly and most importantly, it penetrates the deeper layers and helps with the production of collagen which is very important in the overall health and structure of the skin.

These two main functions combined eventually leads to a more youthful glow, a less sagging looking skin, and diminished fine lines.

Sounds too good to be true, right? There's one problem though. A considerable number of people do not react very well to retinol. This usually means having a red swollen face after application. So if you are thinking about buying a product with this as a main ingredient, it is best to exercise caution when using it.

What you can do to minimize this effect however, is to get your skin used to it. Health professionals advise that if you're just beginning to use a retinol-based cream, you should apply it sparingly during the first few weeks or so. Also, during this trial period it is best if you don't use it every day but instead use it every 2-3 days at least. Once you don't see any dramatic redness anymore, then start using it as a daily cream.

Also be aware that because of the active ingredient, your skin becomes very sensitive to the sun. So Don't ever forget to use sunscreen. Even better, use retinol only at night. This ensures that during the most time that it's active you are not directly exposed to the sun at all.

Lastly, there are some contentions that Retinol doesn't really work so well because it has to convert to retinoic acid first. This apparently could mean that some of its potency decreases during the conversion process or that not all of the retinol converts to retinoic acid anyway, so its efficacy dramatically decreases.

This is true and could very possibly be the case especially for products that don't go through any rigid testing and packaging. So always make sure you get antiaging products that do come from a reputable company or at the very most receive a lot of great customer reviews.
